Tweed served on the Merrie Woode Board of Trustees from 2015-2020 and chaired the Centennial Celebration. She also served on the initial land preservation campaign in the late 1990s and on the Search Committee for new directors in 2022. Tweed was a camper from 1979-1983 and a counselor in 1992. Tweed’s mother Jane McMullen Cline and daughters Carson and Sykes also attended Merrie Woode. She lives in Tampa with her husband Rick and son Skip. Tweed graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Art History and is an interior decorator. She has served on numerous local boards including the Tampa Museum of Art, the Junior League of Tampa, Berkeley Preparatory School and the Vestry of St. John’s Episcopal Church.
