BECOME A PART OF OUR MERRiE-WOODE FAMILY!

Camp Merrie-Woode is proud to offer a robust tuition scholarship program. Merrie-Woode currently allocates significant funds each year to camperships through a combination of annual giving, endowment income, and general operating funds. Any camper enrolled in the upcoming summer’s sessions is eligible to apply for a campership. Please contact the Camp office at 828-743-3300 for details on how to apply to for a campership. Application materials are due by October 31 each year, and applicants will be notified of their awards during the first week of December. (Enrolled campers may apply for a campership after these dates, and funds may be awarded as available.)

The campership application considers many relevant factors of the household. A copy of the most recently filed tax return is also required. All applications will be considered, and awards will be made based on a determination of need. Families may be asked to contribute a portion of tuition, and we are glad to work with families on a payment schedule. Campership awards may also include assistance with expenses such as travel, uniforms, trunk shipping, and items on the camper packing list.
