PREPARING FOR CAMP
It is important to us that your camper arrives prepared and excited for Camp! Prior to the start of your camper’s session, you will receive emails with information including your:
Camper Forms
Camper Forms that must be submitted by May 1 through your CampinTouch portal. These forms ensure that we have all important information about your daughter before she arrives for her session.
Opening and Closing Day
Please view our Opening and Closing Day video
Opening and Closing Day arrival times will be assigned to families prior to the start of Camp based on camper age. Please view our Opening and Closing Day video for our policies and procedures. ID is required for pick-up of your camper.
Packing List and Uniform Rental Form
If you would like to purchase your uniform, please visit Everything Summer Camp, Inc. Because uniforms are made to order, we emphasize the need to place your uniform order early. If you would like to rent your uniforms (June and Main Session campers only), please fill out the Uniform Rental Agreement in your CampInTouch portal.
June and Main session campers wear the grey middie blouse, green tie, and dark green shorts. August session campers wear the grey Camp Merrie-Woode t-shirt and dark green shorts. On Sundays, all session campers wear white collared shirts, green ties, and white shorts. Please review our Packing Lists to ensure you are prepared for Camp.
Shipping Luggage
Arrangements to ship luggage to Camp can be made through ShipsCamp within your CampInTouch Portal. If you plan on shipping luggage, please remember to send your daughter with a small bag holding an extra camp uniform, bathing suit, and toiletries in the unlikely event that she arrives at Camp before her bags.
Health and Prescription
We partner with Cashiers Valley Pharmacy and require medications to be blister packaged prior to Camp. If your camper has medications, the pharmacy will deliver them before Opening Day. We will charge your Stock Shop account $12 for each prescription. This fee will cover oversight of medication administration by the pharmacist. Specific information about order medication can be found in the CMW Parent Handbook.
Activity Sign-Up
Campers will sign up for their activities on Opening Day. Please review our Activity Sign-Up Infographic for more important information about the process.
No Package Policy
We have a NO PACKAGE POLICY at Camp. Only flat letters may be sent to campers. This policy includes books, magazines, food, candy, and oversized envelopes. Please spread the word to friends and family.
Unplugged and Fully Connected Policy
We are proud to be “unplugged and fully connected” at Camp. All electronic items are prohibited. Please review our Unplugged Infographic for important information regarding our policy.
Parent Communication
We recognize that it can be hard to be away from your camper, which is why we work hard to keep you updated and connected with her experience.
We recognize that not all parents and guardians will have the opportunity to drop their camper off on Opening Day. To bridge this gap and ensure that everyone feels connected, we will share a short video featuring your camper’s counselor.
While your daughter is at Camp, you will receive postcards and a letter from her counselor(s). The postcards and letter will outline your camper’s activities, cabin life, and accomplishments at Camp.
