Camp Merrie-Woode is a place where girls can explore, grow, and make lifelong friends in the beauty of the mountains. Since 1919, we have welcomed generations of campers to experience adventure, independence, and the simple joy of life outdoors.
In our supportive, non-competitive environment, girls are encouraged to try new things, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of. Days are filled with time outside, learning new skills, and building friendships that last far beyond the summer. At Merrie-Woode, girls gain independence, develop confidence, and return home with a deeper sense of themselves and a lifetime of memories.

Merrie-Woode is a sanctuary of rarest beauty which inspires a lasting awareness of God’s presence. Our Mission is to use that setting to nurture the physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth of girls and young women through traditional camp activities and outdoor adventures. In this friendly, non-competitive community of simplified living, each individual is valued for who she is and who she will become.
