Susan lives in Tampa, Florida, with her husband, Clay. She attended Camp Merrie-Woode as both a camper and counselor from 1977 to 1988. Their daughter followed in her footsteps, attending Merrie-Woode as a camper and Junior Counselor from 2008 to 2016, while their son attended Camp High Rocks. Susan’s sister, Gay O’Neal Abbott, was also a Merrie-Woode camper and counselor during the early 70s and 80s. Susan holds a BBA from Emory University and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida. She is a Shareholder at CS&L CPAs and manages the firm’s Tampa office. Susan has served as president of The Junior League of Tampa, treasurer of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, and in leadership roles with various school-related and community organizations. She currently serves on the finance committee of the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) and is a Trustee of the Saunders Foundation.
