Liz lives in Nashville with her husband, Chad, and their three children, Hobs, Lee, and Lucy. She serves as a Student Support Coordinator and Literacy Specialist at Ensworth School. Liz’s love for working with children began during her summers as both a junior counselor and counselor at Merrie Woode. She was also a camper from 1987-1991.  Her daughter, Lucy, is a current Merrie Woode camper. Liz graduated from the University of the South and later earned a Master’s degree in Reading Education from Lipscomb University. In addition to her professional work in education, she has served on the board of Westminster School for Young Children and has served in numerous volunteer roles within her community.
