Elizabeth lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband, John, and three sons, Jack, George, and William. Elizabeth is a Managing Director of Cherokee, a private equity firm and venture capital investment company.  She previously worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. advising on leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. Elizabeth received a B.A. in Economics and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa. Elizabeth attended Merrie-Woode from 1988 – 1995 and was a counselor from 1996 – 1998.
