It’s been a fine day here at Camp Merrie-Woode! Today is the day that marks exactly two weeks of Main Session. Regardless of the storm, the girls still had a hoot on their cabin camp-outs last night. The drizzles and gray clouds didn’t stop anyone from pulling out the

I was sleeping in my favorite tree this morning, when I heard the toll of the bell. As I was walking up the main road, I heard laughter and fun being had in the Arts and Crafts hut. So I decided to see what the campers were up to, they were having fun with watercolors. And down

The Luau Cook-Out

It’s Chapel Sunday again; one of the best days of the week for a Tajar, and, because it’s the day before Independence Day, we had a ton of guests join us for service this morning! With all the extra family members and returning Three Week campers, it was a wonderful

Who’s Line?

Today’s the day that marks exactly one week of camp so far! I feel like it was just yesterday that I saw the little campers moving into their cabins. Boy, has it been a busy week! The girls put in some hard sweat and work into their Tennis moves, Archery classes, and

B-I-N-G-O!

I was sunbathing on the tennis courts this morning, when a bunch of campers came to play! They practiced their serves and backhands, and I must say they are looking good! I then decided it was perfect weather to take a dip, so I set off towards the docks. On my way there, I
