B-I-N-G-O

Today was a blast! After Devotional, I visited King Arthur’s Court where Tumbling was just beginning. You should see their cartwheels go! Because I was already up there, I swung over to see what Tennis was up to. They were playing some very competitive games of Queen of the Court

Somewhere Deep in the Mountains

It was the first day of activities today and I awoke to the sounds of excited campers preparing for their first full day in middies! I bounced over to Nature in the morning, where Rob Gudger of Wolf Tales had come to teach the campers all about wolves. He had a beautiful and

Here We’d Like to Stay for Good

Because of the extra half hour of sleep we get on Sundays, I woke up especially rejuvenated. That’s when I remembered: the Main Session campers are here! After snagging a cinnamon roll from the Dining Hall, I made my way to Chapel for a good seat. Our speaker today was Thomas

Nancy Drew and Her Biggest Case Ever

What a day! I have been so busy! First, I heard that the wolves were visiting Nature today. I was scurrying to the Nature Nook to find some new friends when I ran into some horseback riders on the camp road! They were taking a trail ride. The girls were all very excited! I bid

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

Happy Father’s Day to all our Merrie Woode Fathers! We had a beautiful last Sunday here at camp. At Chapel, speaker Jody Anderson recounted tales of her days as a camper in the early 1940s. I love to see my campers return! After a delicious Sunday lunch (fried chicken!), I went

Four More Days of Vacation…

We may only have four days of camp left, but things are just gearing up around here! The Costuming and Stagecraft classes have been working hard to complete everything for our play, Nancy Drew and Her Biggest Case Ever. The costumes and set that they have built are so impressive!
