2014 June Session Play – The Little Prince
“One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye.” –- The Little Prince
We are thrilled to announce that this summer’s June Session play will be The Little Prince!
Based on the beloved book by French author, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, The Little Prince tells the story of a world-weary aviator who has crash landed in the Sahara Desert. Stranded, thirsty, and alone, the pilot meets a mysterious, charismatic young prince who has fallen from the sky. The prince regales him with tales of life among the stars and a journey across the universe that brings the aviator to a new understanding of how to laugh, cry, and love again.
As we present this treasured and timeless tale on the Castle stage this summer, discover a little man with golden hair who poses many questions, but will answer none for you. The Little Prince speaks to the castaway in all of us, challenging our perspective, opening our eyes, and bringing us back to the heart of what truly matters.
